Visa brings its She's Next World Campaign to Armenia

Visa, a world leading digital payment industry, launches the World She's Next Empowered by Visa initiative in Armenia in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD/WZEB), organizing a panel discussion on "Women in Business of India."

The launch of the She's Next campaign in Armenia is a serious step in strengthening local female entrepreneurs.

Since its launch in 2019, the campaign has armed tens of thousands of women around the world to finance their small business, with the skills needed to develop and expand. This panel discussion, together with EBRD, is just the first step Visa takes to promote women's entrepreneurship in Armenia, "And we look forward to creating great opportunities for Armenian female leaders to expand and succeed," commented Diana Kiguradze, regional manager of Visa in the Caucasus.

In organizing the discussion, Visa and the representation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Armenia have combined efforts to promote women's economic progress, to share knowledge, experience and resources, as well as to facilitate the development of connections between female entrepreneurs. The discussion meeting gathered local female entrepreneurs and was devoted to a variety of topics, including the challenges and ideas of women's entrepreneurship in Armenia. Diana Kiguradze, regional manager of assa, and Zara Ohanyan, director of the WZEB Advice to Small Businesses in Armenia.

She's Next Empowered by Visa is a global initiative it offers women the necessary tools and resources to start their business, to develop and expand it at both local and international levels.
